Wentzville Holt High School senior Aaron Payne’s artwork has made it to the “Final Four” of voting for the top pieces of artwork submitted for the St. Louis Post Dispatch 100 Neediest Cases Art Contest.
Hundreds of entries were submitted by high school and college students across the greater St. Louis area and the top winners are published alongside the real life stories they represent in the Post Dispatch.
The paper prints the 100 Neediest cases through a series of articles between Thanksgiving and Christmas as a joint effort with the United Way of St. Louis. This year, for the first time, the paper is running a bracket challenge too where you can vote on the top pieces of student artwork by visiting http://upickem.stltoday.com/upickem/registration/login.asp.
Please take the time to vote for Aaron’s piece in this semifinal round! If you wish to vote, it is helpful to know that you need to click on the right bracket titled “Industrious Illustrators.”
