The Holt High School Theatre Department will present Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” on November 21, 22, and 23. This musical will be performed by an all-school cast and crew, each evening beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The story is set in the Oklahoma territory in 1906, where we meet Curly (Devon Dietiker) and Laurey (Lily Blair), who are in love but too stubborn to admit it. Laurey’s friend Ado Annie (Amber Miller) is caught between two fellows, as well — Will Parker (Aden Hicks) and Ali Hakim (Dylan Soberg). Ado Annie doesn’t know which way to turn, and Curly must decide to confess his feelings for Laurey or lose her forever.
