Golden Games Offers Week-Long Schedule of Athletic Events, Activities for Seniors

The 2015 St. Charles County Golden Games offers six days of athletic events and activities for seniors Monday, May 4 though Saturday, May 9. Registration is now closed, but results will be posted after the games on the organization’s website.

A pre-games banquet for competitors and their guests and a dance competition will be held at the Stegton Regency Banquet Center in St. Charles at 6 p.m. Monday, May 4.

The St. Charles County games started with the formation of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1987. At that time, the age for participation was 55. The age was lowered to 50 years in 1996 when the organization became a member of the U.S. National Senior Olympics.
