First-Ever Wentzville St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Looking for Sponsors, Vendors

Wentzville St. Patrick's Day

On March 11 and 12, 2017, Wentzville’s historic downtown will host its first-ever St. Patrick’s Day Celebration with a 5K run, a parade, and a festival.

Wentzville St. Patrick's Day

The Wentzville Downtown Business Association, in partnerships with the Sister Cities of St. Charles, Irish Chapter, and the City of Wentzville will present a family-friendly, Irish-themed event that will feature specialty entertainment, Irish dancers and musicians, food and drinks.

The event will kick off at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 11 with the 5K Guinness Challenge run and the 8:30 a.m. Leprechaun Leap one-mile fun run.

At 10 a.m., the parade will begin at Holt High School and travel east on Pearce Boulevard to Linn, providing a perfect lead-in to the 11 a.m. festival. The festival, which will be located south of the railroad tracks (same general location as the Octoberfest and Wentzville Days), will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Festival Committee is seeking media partners, sponsors, parade participants, and vendors. Anyone interested in being a food, retail, wine, or cocktail vendor should submit an application as soon as possible, as the number of vendors accepted will be limited.
