Facebook Post Prompts Indecent Exposure Investigation

After a victim posted on Facebook about a case of indecent exposure at the Wentzville Target store, Wentzville detectives have opened an investigation and posted pictures of a suspect vehicle on their own Facebook page.

According to police, the incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27.

The victim reported a heavy set white male, in his 40’s, with dark hair and dark facial hair drove up beside the victim who observed the male’s genitals exposed. The victim walked away from the male subject’s vehicle and reported the incident to Target staff,” police said.

Police were able to get security video of the suspect’s vehicle, a dark gray four-door hatchback with tinted windows and a small white decal located in the lower left corner of the rear window.

The department had a request for the public: “We ask for you to be vigilant when patronizing public places and ALWAYS report incidents directly to police.”
