Friday, April 15

  • Teen Gaming Club, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Corporate Parkway Library. Super Smash Brothers, Wii games and board games. Snacks provided. Ages 12 to 18.
  • Bingo, doors open 5 p.m., games start at 7 p.m., American Legion Post 323, Wentzville. Smoking and nonsmoking available, 50/50, attendance prizes, concessions available.
  • Public Stargazing, 7 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Weather permitting, telescopes available. Free, registration required for large groups.

Saturday, April 16

  • All-Day Make-it Station, Deer Run Branch Library. Drop in any time and make a library card holder.
  • Saturday Morning Chess Club, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library, 2750 Highway K, O’Fallon. Drop in for a friendly game of chess, no registration required.
  • Earth Day, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park, 1795 Highway DD, Defiance 63341. Plant sale, free popcorn, kids’ crafts, nature hikes, educational talks and demonstrations, giveaways, free electronics recycling.
  • Hike & Bike Orienteering, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park, 1795 Highway DD, Defiance 63341. Short “how to” session, and courses for new orienteers, children and experienced enthusiasts. $5 fee, register online.
  • Help Save the Monarch Butterflies, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Library. Learn from a naturalist about plants that can help Monarch Butterflies. Register online.
  • Vendor & Craft Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wentzville Christian Church, 1507 Highway Z, Wentzville 63385. Food trucks, door prizes, free admission and parking.
  • Crumpled Classics, presented by the Young People Theatre Performing Arts Academy, 3 p.m., Social Sciences Building auditorium, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, Cottleville. Tickets $5 at, in the Continuing Education office in Humanities Building Room 103 or by calling 636-922-8233.
  • Movies in the Park, “Grease,” 8 p.m., 1630 Heritage Landing, St. Peters 63303. Free popcorn, other concessions available for purchase. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Sunday, April 17

  • Wentzville Community Club Flea Market, 6 a.m., 354-388 West Main Street, Wentzville. 400 vendor spaces. No animals allowed.
  • Hiking Series, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Matson Hill Park, 670 Matson Hill Road, Defiance 63341. Hike through the park and look for signs of wildlife and identify flora. Casual pace, 2 to 5 miles. Free, register online.
