Early Candidate Filings in Wentzville: New Names on the April Ballot

Wentzville’s municipal election races are already shaping up, with several newcomers challenging the incumbents on the Wentzville Board of Aldermen.

Candidate filing began Tuesday and continues until January 17 for the April 4 election.

In Ward 1, Bryan Harr has filed his candidacy for the board of aldermen. Incumbent Cheryl Kross has not yet filed.

In Ward 2, two newcomers, Jeff Ottenlips and Brittany Gillett, have filed to challenge incumbent Sonya Shryock.

Filing in Ward 3 was incumbent Matt Swanson, who is as yet uncontested in that ballot race.

The only candidate filing for Wentzville municipal judge so far is incumbent Michael E. Carter.
