The City of Wentzville was recognized for a number of reasons including its outstanding safety committee, above-average claims-management practices, the city’s proactive efforts to spread a culture of safety through all city departments, and its ongoing commitment to safety.

Wentzville’s safety record has also earned the city an e-mod rating of .68, which means that the organization is paying 32 percent less on insurance premiums than other businesses and municipalities in Missouri. This savings translates into a $30,252 return premium for this year.

“While this effort toward safety saves the City money, it also does the most important thing – ensures everyone goes home safely each night!” Mayor Nick Guccione said.
