As required by the Missouri Ethics Commission, candidates in next Tuesday’s municipal election filed “8-Day Before” financial reports detailing contributions and expenditures. The reports may be filed either with the Missouri Ethics Commission or with the St. Charles County Election Authority.

A candidate is required to have a campaign committee and file financial reports when the total of contributions and expenditures exceeds $1000, or when a single contributor gives them $325 or more (130.016.1 RSMo.)

Ward 4 candidate Jeff Schwentker did not file reports with either M.E.C. or the St. Charles County Election Authority. Ward 3 candidate Rick Battelle is running unopposed.
