The Back to School Family Fair offers free school supplies, kids’ activities, and information about local businesss on Saturday, July 29.
The events, which is in its fifth year, will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Morning Star Church, 1600 Feise Road in Dardenne Prairie.
Local businesses will be hosting booths at the event and each one will be offering a fun activity for children as well as information about the business and its products or services.
In addition to the free school supplies and drawstring backpacks, free bike helmets will be given away from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Kids can meet Princess Ariel and Spider-Man and see fire trucks from the Wentzville Fire Protection District and ambulances from the St. Charles County Ambulance District. Free breakfast pastries, hot dogs, and samples from Oberweis Home Delivery will be available.
Families can gather information and coupons as well as giveaways from local businesses and groups.
The event is sponsored by the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, National Information Solutions Cooperative, and Mercy Kids.
