After-Thanksgiving community dance lets you ‘dance off that pie!’ on Nov. 30

Dancers of all ages follow the call to “circle up left” at the debut of 5TH Saturday Community Dance, June 2018, in Wentzville

The 5th Saturday Community dance will be held on Saturday, November 30 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at Wentzville Community Club, 500 West Main Street in Wentzville.

Bring your holiday guests and work off that Thanksgiving pie the fun way – dancing! Saturday, November 30, is our last 5th Saturday Community Dance of the year. Mac MacKeever will return to call lively instructions. Enjoy the astounding tunes of Banjo Surprise Band from St. Louis, featuring the extraordinary pairing of Roger Netherton on fiddle with Alyssa Catlin on guitar.

No experience? No partner? No problem! All dances are taught. Easy mixers and fun contra dances delight even non-dancers. All are welcome – singles, couples, families, seniors, youth age 8 and up.   Instruction starts at 6:30 p.m.; dance from 7 to 9 p.m. Sponsored by Crossroads Arts Council and hosted by Wentzville Community Club.

5th Saturday Community Dance offers friendly, casual, inexpensive fun. Potluck snacks welcome. Requested donation: $7 ages 18 and older; $3 for children 8-17. Maximum donation per family (living together) is $20. Please note that all who attend may be photographed for promotional purposes of 5th Saturday Community Dance or Crossroads Arts Council.

5th Saturday Community Dance started in June of 2018 as a project of Crossroads Community Arts Council. Previous events have drawn over 100 dancers from St. Charles and St. Louis counties and beyond. See dance clips, photos, and more at

The mission of Crossroads Arts Council is to cultivate, nurture, and grow the arts in Wentzville by supporting local artists.
