Avoid the wait at the gate and save on the cost of admission by pre-purchasing admission wristbands for the Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll, which will be held Monday, December 10, and Tuesday, December 11. This popular walkthrough of the Celebration of Lights in Fort Zumwalt Park will be held from 6 – 8:30 p.m., and the cost is $5 at the gate for ages 3 and up (free for ages 2 and under).
Wristbands can be purchased for $3 per person (a $2 savings off the cost of admission) starting Monday, November 12, through Friday, December 7, or until supplies last. Wristbands will be sold at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office, 400 Civic Park Drive (across the street from Civic Park); hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Wristbands also will be sold at the Renaud Spirit Center (RSC), 2650 Tri Sports Circle, O’Fallon 63366; the RSC is open daily with varying hours. On these two special nights, lights will illuminate a one-mile drive lined with whimsical holiday scenes featuring favorite movie and storyland characters, nativities, and more. Families will hear caroling, Santa Land will be open with live reindeer, food and beverages will be available for purchase and fireworks will burst over Lake Whetsel at 7:25 p.m. Visitors also can:

Pedestrians are welcome to bring strollers, wagons, walkers and wheelchairs, but not pets or dogs (except service dogs). Motorized hoverboards, kids’ scooters, bikes or skateboards are not allowed.
